Daily News foregrounds the invisible struggles of migrant newspaper couriers. Navigating the nights on bicycle to deliver morning news to the breakfast tables of the intellectual city, their labour situation is precarious but often the only choice. It was shot as part of a workshop on ethnographic filmmaking, Ethnocineca Filmwerk. The film sets out to capture the ephemeral presence of bicycle newspaper delivery workers in the nighttime streets while exploring themes of migration and ‘home’.
