Billboard Land
Billboard Land sets out to explore the conflict between the commercial colonization of urban space and the human need for exploration and freedom. It investigates how a city saturated by advertising, surveillance, and infrastructure actively manufactures desire and isolates the individual, while simultaneously asking if connection is still possible. The film discovers its answer in a “dialectical” overlooked space—a derelict wildscape hidden behind the billboards themselves.
